As new information and gameplay screenshots for the upcoming Dragon Quest 8 title continue to surface, fans anxiously await news of a release date in the United States.
Although the game has been slated for an August 27 launch in Japan, no such announcement has been made for those in the West.
New reports suggest, however, that Nintendo may deliver the information at the upcoming E3 2015 conference. Nintendo officials are also rumored to make a release date announcement for the Metroid 3DS and Wii U game at the event.
The company is set to release three new bundles in Europe beginning on June 26.
These include the Xenoblade Chronicles, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The company announced a new Fire Emblem: If bundle for the 3DS console, which includes faceplates of characters in the Nohr and Hoshido nations. Splatoon, an original franchise for Nintendo, will be released for the Wii U later this year.
The bundle version of the game will have a May 29 release date.
Nintendo developers recently revealed that classic Sega games will now be available for the 3DS via the eShop site.
These include Fantasy Zone 2, Thunder Blade, Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes and Sonic the Hedgehog2.
