“Dragon Ball Super” series creator Akira Toriyama has revealed why he chose that particular color for the Super Saiyan Blue form. Attack of the Fanboy reported that the “Dragon Ball Super” series creator Akira Toriyama spoke with animator Toyotaro and discussed about the anime. The interview was published in V-Jump’s official website . Toriyama explained why Goku and Vegeta’s new Super Saiyan form is colored blue. “In the ‘Battle of Gods’ movie, they were red,” he admitted. “So in the film ‘The Resurrection of F,’ I had to use blue. That’s all (laughs). In fact, I had thought to have made it white, but it would have been in conflict with the next enemy… So I thought I’d keep it for another time (laughs).” Aside from a new enemy coming to the next “Dragon Ball Super” arc, an old character may be set to reappear in the series. “I read the plot for the next story, and I’m really happy that a character ‘linked to the future; will be involved,” Toyotaro revealed. “I am a big fan!” “This is a very popular character!” Toriyama added. “I hope that the children will be happy.” The latest installment, “Dragon Ball Super” episode 40 , has shown the end of the inter-universe tournament. It opened with Goku and Hit in the middle of a massive ki blast battle. The powers of the fighters were so intense that Vados and Whis had to make sure that everyone was safe. After the explosion, the two fighters are still standing strong, though. Hit taunted Goku that his time skipping technique has become stronger than when they first started the battle. Meanwhile, Goku’s struggle can be seen by the viewers in “Dragon Ball Super” episode 40. Apparently, he can no longer sustain his Kaioken form. Afterwards, the Super Saiyan asked for the rules to be changed so that he can see Hit’s true powers. Hit is holding back because he will be disqualified if Goku dies during their fight. A new character, named Zeno, then emerged. Episode 40 ended with Champa and Beerus’ being shocked by Zeno’s appearance.
