'Doctor Who' Season 9 Set Photos Spoilers: Does Clara Shoot Down Peter Capaldi And Osgood With A Rocket Launcher?

Do our eyes deceive us, or do the latest “Doctor Who” season 9 set photos depict Clara turning on the Doctor? Recently, “Doctor Who” season 9 began filming in south Wales for episode 7 and 8 of the series.

As seen from set photos from Wales Online , we see Jenna Coleman portraying Clara and holding a rocket launcher with great aplomb.

But it is not only Clara who appears to be getting some heavy duty action in the latest episodes of “Doctor Who” season 9.

As seen from photos revealed by Huw Evans Agency on Twitter, Peter Capaldi can be seen with an open parachute.

“Capaldi was spotted on Barry Island in Wales as he walked along the beach wearing a parachute-and a stylish pair of shades-but it’s not clear what he’s jumped from,” wrote The Mirror .

“His equipment was certainly patriotic, with the Union Flag being displayed clearly on the material as the star took in his surroundings.

With rumble seen all round, it seems there has been a crash with the Doctor possibly having to leap to safety.” With these “Doctor Who” season 9 set photos, some Whovians are wondering if Clara is the one to shoot down the Doctor, or perhaps a Zygon version of Clara.

“Not to jump to conclusions, but the pictures really do make it look like Clara’s somewhat responsible for the Doctor and Osgood’s unplanned descent,” commented The Lazy Cat Is Investigating.

“But why?” Recently, it was confirmed that Osgood would be coming back to “Doctor Who” for season 9.

As shown in  set photos  taken in Cardiff, actress Ingrid Oliver was seen filming alongside Peter Capaldi with her trademark glasses.

“Osgood is back, fresh from her recent murder at the end of last series,” said Moffat according to Express.

“We recently confirmed that Osgood was definitely dead and not returning-but in a show about time travel, anything can happen.

The brilliant Ingrid Oliver is back in action.

This time though, can the Doctor trust his number one fan?”
