Did UP10TION's Wooshin inappropriately touching IOI's Jeon So Mi?

Wooshin of boy group UP10TION is causing a stir among netizen. He’s accused of inappropriately touching IOI’s center Jeon So Mi. Both of them are MCs for SBS’s music program ‘The Show’. In a Christmas promotional video that was posted on ‘The Show’ official Twitter, Wooshin’s hand seemed to be accidentally touching So Mi’s chest. The video was filmed by Wooshin, who was holding up the camera. He had the best ‘selca angle’, the term popularly known to show only the best of someone’s features. Wooshin was wearing crisp white shirt and red tie, while So Mi wore red school blazer, white shirt and white skirt, and knee-high white socks.

After they greeted the fans of ‘The Show’, they began chatting about Santa Claus. As Wooshin asked So Mi if she believed in Santa Claus, his hand made a motion and ended up looking like it was pressed against So Mi’s chest. In the video, So Mi took a step back as if surprised though that is up to interpretation. Then she regained her composure and shifted closer to her co-MC again. The 27-seconds long video showed fans that at least Wooshin’s hand touched So Mi’s chest twice. Fans expressed different opinions on that. Some are saying that it was clearly an accident, but the others are not so sure. You can watch the video below:
As reported by allkpop,  ‘The Show’ representative has clarified that there was no malicious intent behind any action seen in the video. They said to the media, “We are here to clarify about ‘The Show’ Christmas promotional video involving our two MCs. During the recording, staffs from both MCs were present and monitoring it all. There were no uncomfortable feelings from both MCs. The current controversy is a mistake from the angle of the video. We strongly hope fans to stop misunderstanding, make negative guesses, or criticize. We have deleted the video from our SNS, so we ask fans of Wooshin and So Mi to understand.” SBS ‘The Show’ airs live every Tuesday at 8 p.m. KST. Check out their official Twitter  account here.
