Following up to her 2013 record “Demi,” Demi Lovato is expected to come up with a new album in the next few months or next year as she prepares for recording this year.
The songstress’ manager Phil McIntyre recently revealed in a Billboard interview that Lovato would start writing new songs for the new album before the year ends when the “Heart Attack” singer is done with her tour shows.
Release date of the upcoming record is expected next year if everything goes according to plan.
“She’s finishing up right now on the last leg of her touring for this year, and we finish it up with a couple of radio shows,” McIntyre said.
“Then the plan is for her to go back into the studio and start the next creative process.
She’s already done some songs, but certainly the majority of it will kick off next year.” Meanwhile, the 22-year-old singer claimed in a report by Ryan Seacrest , that her new music is expected to be “more authentic” and be her best work yet.
“I’ve never been more confident in my sound,” Demi Lovato said in reference to her new album.
“Never been so sure of who I am as an artist.
Never felt this hungry and driven.
I can’t describe my new sound…” “The only word that comes to mind is authentic.
Very very authentic to who I am & the voice I have inside.
What I can say is this will be my best work yet…
Already game changing music and I’ve barely scratched the surface on creating this album.” She also revealed in her Twitter account how excited she is with her upcoming album and how she is looking forward to the changes she has made with her music.
“F**k trying to make music that will appeal to the masses for the sake of hit songs,” she added.
“It’s time to share my lane…
Because no one can take away my individuality or copy my best work which my fans deserve to see.
I’m sorry it took so long to figure out MY channel but it’s here…
The changes I’ve made…
It’s a new journey…
A new chapter in my life and I’m so f**king ready.
