Dell Curry, Stephen’s dad defended his granddaugther’s presence at the press conferences.

“They’ll get over it,” the former NBA player said in an interview with  USA Today .

“He was still able to do his interview.

She didn’t stop that at all.

“She’s was just waving to reporters,” the elder Curry continued.

“That’s just the way she is.

She knows what’s happening.

” “She knew she was on the stage and she knew people were talking to her daddy and she’s on his lap and she’s just like ‘Hey, how’s everybody?’ That’s just the way she is,'” he added.

Some reporters had taken issue with the MVP bringing in his daughter for the press conferences.

“Steph Curry’s kid is cute.

That doesn’t mean she should have been at presser.

There are professionals on deadlines there with jobs to do, too,” tweeted Star-News ACC (@starnewsacc).

But that did not deter Stephen Curry from bringing his daughter once more to interviews with the media, where Riley once again stole the spotlight.  During the post-game conference on Wednesday where the Warriors beat the Houston Rockets to clinch a place in the NBA Finals, the 2-year-old took over the press conference again.

She performed her very own rendition of the song “Blessings” by Drake and Big Sean.

Drake apparently saw the interview and posted the clip on his Instagram account.

The singer captioned the photo, “Way, way, way.” Also during that press conference, the young girl had one Warriors staff hold onto her gum as she went off to play behind the curtain.

“She’s taking advantage of the situation for sure,” Curry said at the mic.

“I’ve got a little personality,” the Warriors player said in an interview with ESPN.

“But that’s all my wife’s side.” During her first time accompanying her father on the podium last May 19, Riley yawned, waved to the room full of reporters, and asked her dad to “be quiet.” The Youtube video showing the young girl’s antics has been viewed more than 350,000 times since it was posted.
