'Deadpool' Movie Trailer, Release Date & Cast: Tired Of Superhero Films? Ryan Reynolds Says ‘Deadpool’ Will Bring Back The Golden Era Of Comic-Book Movies

‘Deadpool’ Movie Trailer, Release Date & Cast: “Deadpool” is coming and for any who thinks the superheroes have lost their power to jump the shark after “Fantastic Four,” Ryan Reynolds says Deadpool will bring back the golden era of comic-book movies.

The ‘Deadpool’ movie release date will come in the middle of a spate of continuing superhero movies opening and Ryan Reynolds told GQ he’s not worried it will be lost in the mix.
Reynolds worked on the script with “Zombieland” writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The Canadian actor has been working on “Deadpool” for six years.
Reynolds told Total Film. “what I’m most proud of is we got to make the movie in the way it should have been made, which is rated R at a very modest budget.”
Director Tim Miller put together the title sequence for “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”.
Deadpool will give the backstory of Reynold’s character Wade Wilson aka Deadpool from the terminal cancer diagnosis to the secret program turned him into the Merc with the Mouth. Reynolds first played Wade Wilson in Origins: Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds mentioned that his Deadpool is not the same Deadpool as the one in the X-Men Origins movie “[Deadpool] will actually have no connection to the one that was in Wolverine.”
“Homeland” actress Morena Baccarin plays Vanessa.
Last year at this time Ryan Reynolds hinted that the love affair with Deadpool was ebbing.
“It’s like the worst relationship I’ve ever had!,” Ryan said. Reynolds might not be able to return to the role of Wade Wilson at all if the Deadpool movie doesn’t get an R-rating. A PG-13 would mean less violence, no dismemberments and less fun all around than the Deadpool comics.
Screen Rants quotes Ryan Reynolds saying “[In] its current iteration the movie’s actually very small,” Reynolds revealed whilst doing press for animated snail story ‘Turbo’. “There’s minimal impact to the studio, which is the way we’re kind of presenting it to them. We’re saying ‘Look, the budget is minimal. Therefore, can we do this the way it should be done?’ Which unfortunately needs a Rated R [age certificate] or it needs those elements.”
The “Deadpool” movie will be released on February 12, 2016.
