As they prepare for the launch of their new album, the Chemical Brothers revealed the track list and a new track for their upcoming eighth record, which is expected to be released this year.
In a report by Pitchfork, the new record is expected to be out on July 17 and will be called “Born In The Echoes.”
As a follow up to their 2010 release “Further,” the Chemical Brothers, consisting of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, revealed that the upcoming LP has been very special for them, as they revealed to have tried something different for the record.
“The most important feature of the album is that it connects with us emotionally in some way,” Rowlands said.
“We hope for finding a new way to make you feel.
We dream of new sounds and different frames.
We have worked with some guest singers but mostly the album is pure Chemical Brothers.” The upcoming release would feature tracks from different artists such as Q-Tip, St.
Vincent, Ali Love, Cate Le Bon and Beck.
