‘FNAF World’ To Be Updated And Released For Free, Cawthon Promises Refund For Previous Version

'FNAF World' To Be Updated And Released For Free

After his initial apology and promise to re-release “FNAF World,” creator of the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” franchise Scott Cawthon has announced a few more steps he’s taking to make amends to fans. According to a post on Steam, Scott Cawthon plans to release an updated version of “FNAF World” on Gamejolt and Steam for free. In addition, Cawthon announced that a full refund will be issued to fans who purchased the game previously on Steam. Cawthon started out his announcement by explaining his unhappiness with the ratings from players, ultimately deciding to remove “FNAF World” from the Steam platform all together. “I wanted to make a post about the fate of FNaF World. Even though the game had a ‘Very Positive’ rating with 87%, I was not satisfied with the reviews and ratings it was getting. For that reason, I’ve decided to remove the game from Steam,” said Cawthon. The horror game creator then announced plans for a refund to those who purchased the game previously, no matter how long the game had been played. Cawthon believes it may take Valve, the company behind the Steam game platform, a while before they can set up the refunds, but

‘FNAF World’ Reviews Apparently Cause Scott Cawthon To Issue Apology On Steam

'FNAF World' Reviews Apparently Cause Scott Cawthon To Issue Apology On Steam

As many fans probably expected, the final installment in the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” PC game franchise came earlier than expected, now available in the Steam store. The unexpected result however was the overwhelming negative response. Shortly after the slew of negative reviews for “FNAF World,” creator Scott Cawthon posted an official apology for the game on Steam. In the apology, Cawthon specifically explained to fans that he believes this is one instance where he shouldn’t have released the game early. “I’ve been accused on rushing my games ever since FNaF 1, but I’ve never felt that I’d released a game too early . . . until now,” said Cawthon. “I got too eager to show the things that were finished, that I neglected to pay attention to the things that weren’t. I’m going to fix this, and I’ll be updating the game with these features in the coming weeks.” The features that Cawthon thinks are lacking in “FNAF World” are related to RPG specific details that he did not include in this first pass of the game. “There are a lot of features that this game should have had before release, features that I was told about, but

'FNAF World' 2nd Trailer Featuring New Gameplay Footage Released [VIDEO]

The “Five Nights at Freddy’s” horror games may be over, but the franchise still has plenty more for the fandom. But not for me. Even in cutesy form animatronics are creepy. Creator Scott Cawthon has finally revealed the second “FNAF World” trailer, available to view below. The new trailer features a broader look at gameplay and confirms Cawthon’s earlier statements that the game would include every version of every animatronic ever depicted in the previous games. “FNAF World” is currently scheduled to be released on Feb. 19 on Steam. Trailer v.2 – Indie DB Cawthon recently announced the “FNAF World” release date on the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” steam page. He also confirmed that there will be a delay since the computer he used to make “FNAF World” recently crashed. “First of all, I apologize for the lack of updates on the websites. My old faithful computer (which I used to make FNaF 1-4) finally died the other day. I had all of my work on FNaF World backed up, of course, but it’s still quite a delay to get a new machine and reconfigure software, etc. I hope to be back up and running soon,” said Cawthon .

Latest 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' DLC Teaser Hints At Possible New Jump Scare From Nightmare Chica

The countdown until the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC is now less than 48 hours, and now that Nightmare Balloon Boy, Puppet, and Mangle have been confirmed, what could possibly be left? Well, since this is “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” new jump scares seem to be definitely appropriate. Creator Scott Cawthon has once again updated his official website with a new teaser from the upcoming “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” Halloween DLC. Though the photo looks like just another image of Nightmare Chica, fans in the official Reddit thread believe it’s a hint toward a brand new jump scare. Since the new Nightmare Chica teaser saves as “BOO,” several fans believe that it’s a hint toward a new jump scare. “What if ‘boo’ is the jump scare sound for the Halloween edition,” suggested Mango-Pango on Reddit . In response, Fluttter_Skye provided a .gif  that changes the current in-game jump scare to the new teaser photo provided, showing that perhaps the new jump scare has a Halloween-themed orange coloring. The Halloween aesthetic added to Nightmare Chica makes sense considering Cawthon’s official post on Steam about what fans could expect with the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC. The automatic

‘Five Nights At Freddy’s 4’ Creator Scott Cawthon Reveals Toy Freddy Is A ‘Reclusive And Private Animatronic’

'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' Creator Scott Cawthon Reveals Toy Freddy Is A 'Reclusive And Private Animatronic'

Given that the “Five Nights at Freddy’s” franchise is coming to an end, it only seems right that creator Scott Cawthon has become more transparent about all of his ideas about his beloved animatronics. Except the puppet, because nope, nope, nope. Earlier today, Scott Cawthon responded to a thread on the official “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” steam page regarding the mysterious Toy Freddy. Specifically, Cawthon explained that his personality is very different than what fans had proclaimed and that he’s actually a “reclusive and private animatronic.” The thread in question was a plea to understand why Toy Freddy appears to have received the least attention in comparison to all the animatronics. “Why Scott why do you hate Toy Freddy and give him nothing ever? Even in keychain merchandise, every animatronic was there from ‘FNAF 1’ and ‘2’ except Toy Freddy. The guy doesn’t even get merchandise,” said Patwhi01. Cawthon replied to the complaint about Toy Freddy with an explanation that has to do with Toy Freddy’s nature as a character. “You people don’t UNDERSTAND Toy Freddy. He’s a very reclusive and private animatronic. He spends his evenings curled up reading a good book. He doesn’t like the limelight. So

New 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' DLC Teaser Invites Players To 'Hang Out' With Nightmare Mangle [PHOTO]

As most fans predicted, the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC teasers continue to offer Nightmare versions of previously unrevealed animatronics. If you thought that Balloon Boy and Puppet nightmare versions were scary, you’re in for some relief. Maybe. Well, probably not. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Today, creator Scott Cawthon revealed yet another “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC teaser ahead of the upcoming release date. The new teaser, pictured above, invites players to “Come Hang Out” on Halloween. But as fans have already discovered, a fiendish Nightmare Mangle is hiding in the shadows of the image, suggesting the hang out will be a little bit scarier than you think.  Once again, fans are expressing fearful excitement at the latest “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC teaser. “Put that thing back where it came from or so help me,” said Mojoguy109 on Reddit. As mentioned above, fans will have to brighten the image to find Mangle. Luckily, Mariobros612 on the official “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” Reddit thread has provided it here .  According to Cawthon’s official post on the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” Steam page, the Halloween DLC will be an automatic update that adds a cheat

New 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' DLC Teaser To Feature Nightmare Mangle?

Balloon boy and the infamous Puppet have arrived in Nightmare forms on Scott Cawthon’s official website in preparation for the upcoming “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC. But the question now is, what about the infamous Mangle? According to the guys at 8-Bit Gaming , the next “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC teaser will feature Nightmare Mangle. The evidence boasted by the pair is a rather playful comment from the creator himself, Scott Cawthon. “Quite recently Scott announced that there may be a Mangle. He used the formidable winking face, which we pretty much know that to be a yes. So it seems highly likely we’re going to be seeing Night Mangle in the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 4’ Halloween Update,” said Ryan and Ryan from 8-Bit Gaming. Though there’s no official certainty about whether Nightmare Mangle will indeed make an appearance, Cawthon has confirmed several other elements for the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” DLC Halloween update. According to his official post on the “Five Nights at Freddy’s 4” Steam page, the DLC will be an automatic update that adds a cheat menu, challenge menu, and “a twist on a familiar minigame that provides a boost when

“Underworld Ascendant” game gives gamers a first look. An exploratory RPG adventure, the “Underworld Ascendant” game has a reportedly new take on the first-person RPG gameplay. According to IGN, the development team behind the “Underworld Ascendant” game has pushed aside competing against huge art budgets and resources and focused on what they can specifically offer to players. While the game has been influenced by other games like “Deus Ex,” “Skyrim” and “Bioshock,” the developers created a new genre of immersive gameplay where players get to create their own story. The game was a successfully funded Kickstarter game that got 13, 987 backers who pledged more than $860,000 last March 6, 2015 to help bring the vision of OtherSide Entertainment to life.
