Jang Jae In will release her first mini album on August 1. On August 25, she will release online her own written song, “Rainy Day.” Her agency shared, “‘Rainy Day’ was written by Jang Jae In. She was inspired to write this break up song last year during the rainy season, as she heard the rain fall. She spent a lot of time on this song; it’s like she’s writing a synopsis for a movie.” They also added, “She didn’t write this song to perform it herself, but, with the album’s concept being “Summer Night,” it fit too well for her to leave it out.” Jang Jae In’s unique vocals along with the sound of rain will make this song even more emotional. This mini album is particularly significant for Jang Jae In as it includes songs she’s written since the age of 18. Every summer since her move to Seoul five years ago, she’s written songs. Earlier this year Jang Jae In signed with Kiwi Entertainment, an agency by songwriter Kim Hyung Suk. Since then, ten other agencies have given her offers. Jang Jae In refused all of them and is standing loyal to her first agency.
