Castle’ Season 8 Premiere Renewed Or Cancelled? Castle Season 8 may be the show’s greatest cliffhanger.
There are appeals for “Castle” fans to start a petition campaign to force the show’s renewal.
In a recent interview with TV Line, Seamus Dever who plays Detective Ryan, teased that Castle fans will see the suspense amp up in Season 7.
“There is, of course, the one that everyone has been hanging on, waiting for, since the beginning of this season,” Dever told TV Line.
“What happened to Castle? Where did he go for those three months?” Dever teased that episode 20 will have a feeling of “finality”.
“Obviously, the 150th episode is a milestone for the show but it also directly precedes the season finale,” Showrunner David Amann revealed to TV Line that.
“At this point, we intend Episode 22 to be a buoyant, classic episode of Castle, while [the finale] will focus on compelling, high-stakes story-telling surrounding Castle and Beckett mythology.” ABC has yet to announce the ‘Castle’ Season 8 renewal or cancellation.
Castle Season 7 averages 8.50 million viewers.
The Castle Season 6 averaged 10.18 million total viewers.
Dever recently teased that the “Castle” season 7 finale will a cliffhanger.
“I think we are headed toward to some sort of cliff-hanger.
We go back into the Beckett mythology and that might play strongly in the end,” Dever recently TVline.
“From what I’m hearing, [the delayed renewal] is not from lack of want at the network level.
They’re very happy with the success of our show; it’s just about getting everybody back to the table.” The but the real cliffhanger is the question of whether “Castle” will have a Season 8 as speculation runs rampant over whether ABC is going to cancel it or renew it.
Dever’s Castle contract is up for renewal, as are the contracts for most of the actors from the original cast, including Nathan Fillion, who plays Rick Castle and Stana Katic, who plays Kate Beckett “It’s been weird.

“I don’t know [what’s] going to happen, and, to be honest, no one has talked to me …

I’d like to have some answers because my family wants to know if I’m going to be employed.
But right now it’s really up in the air.” Executive producer David Amann remains hopeful about the renewal issue and promises more stunning developments for the present season.
“We’re hopeful that everything gets resolved,” Amann said.
“We have thought about a bunch [of] different scenarios, but our main obligation is just to our audience and delivering great shows.
We’re just building the best end of the season that we can.”
