Fans of “Castle” can expect a “satisfying end for season 7, at least that’s what the spoilers promise.

Meanwhile, stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are still in talks about renewing their contracts.

In the “Castle” season 7 spoilers from TVLine , Michael Ausiello wrote that a “distinguished” and “highly intelligent” psychiatrist will appear in the final episode.

“Perhaps the shrink is a means to pull out of Rick any repressed memories about his ‘missing’ months?'” In a TV Guide  interview, Seamus Patrick Dever, who plays Kevin Ryan in the series, promised a “cliffhanger” for the season finale of “Castle.” “We go back into the Beckett mythology and that might play strongly in the end,” he said.

“From what I’m hearing, [the delayed renewal] is not from lack of want at the network level.

They’re very happy with the success of our show; it’s just about getting everybody back to the table.” The cliffhanger, the report said, makes Seamus Dever hopeful for “Castle” season 8.

Watch out for more spoilers for “Castle” season 7 which will be published when they come along.

The series will return on April 20 with the episode, “Sleeper.” “The episode will be revisiting Castle’s disappearance mystery,” said IBTimes .

“It may not answer all the questions related to Castle’s mythology but it will provide a much clearer picture of what had happened.” Meanwhile, TVLine  reported that Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are deep into negotiations to renew Castle for another season and “this one could go down to the proverbial wire.” But Cartermatt  said that historically contract negotiations almost always end up with both parties walking away from the table satisfied.

“Sure, there is occasionally a situation like Cote de Pablo and ‘NCIS,’ but Thomas Gibson once signed on for more ‘Criminal Minds’ days before production started,” it said.

“The cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ employed something similar leading up to the start of this season before securing new three-year deals.”
