Cameron Diaz may not be pregnant yet. According to a new report, she and husband Benji Madden were still struggling to conceive and have been resorting to different means to have their first baby.
Citing a report from Star Magazine, Candiest revealed that the couple have recently been trying IVF treatments as their struggle to conceive continues.
“Having a baby is all she talks about!” an insider revealed.
“This is a trying time for Cam,” the insider added. “But she’s totally committed to making this pregnancy happen.”
The actress was recently seen sporting a puffy face while out for lunch with Nicole Richie a few weeks ago as reported by Mirror .
According to a doctor that Star Magazine interviewed, this might be proof that the actress may be getting IVF treatments.
“IVF can cause the appearance of bloat,” North Carolina Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Dr. Andrea Fernandez explained to the source above. “Women in their late 30s and early 40s are more sensitive to the process and can have greater swelling.”
Rumors that Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden may be pregnant with their first baby swirled again in August after she was pictured by photographer hiding her tummy at LAX as reported by Mail Online . Despite the couple keeping mum as “congratulations” greeted them, the rumors did not stop.
Recently, a report claimed that the actress was expecting twins also circulated.
“When they found out they were expecting twins, Benji and Cam were in shock, but completely overjoyed,” a source told Life & Style magazine as quoted by Hollywood Life .
“Although she’s just a few weeks in, Cameron is hoping her babies turn out to be a boy and a girl,” the source also said. “She’s excited to start shopping for the nursery.”
Both Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have yet to confirm if they were indeed pregnant. The couple only got married in January, according to People , after a whirlwind romance.
