The freemium mobile game “Call of Duty: Heroes” is now available for iOS devices.
Activision recently launched a new and full standalone COD game, a 3D combat strategy game available both for iPhones and iPads.
This free-to-play iOS game was initially announced and had a soft-launching back in August.
AppAdvice.com describes it as a game that is “based on Call of Duty franchise and seemingly ‘inspired’ by Clash of Clans.” Moreover, 9to5mac.com reported that Call of Duty: Heroes iOS app offers in-game purchases which range from $9.99 to a whopping $99.99.
The description for the Call of Duty: Heroes iOS app, as posted on its iTunes page, reads: “Experience the excitement of Call of Duty® like never before.
Command an army of legendary heroes, elite soldiers, and devastating drones straight from the Call of Duty franchise in this 3D combat strategy game.
Customize your base and train elite forces to dominate your enemies in fierce battles featuring fully controllable heroes and epic Killstreaks, like the first-person chopper gunner.” COD: Heroes players can take control of, as well as level up iconic heroes that can be found on various Call of Duty installments such as COD 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Every hero in the game has its unique Killstreaks and progression system.
The COD iOS game app is recommended on iPhone 4S and newer models, as well as iPad 2,3,4, iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPad Mini Retina.
It is rated 12+ because of Frequent/Intense Cartoon or Fantasy Violence Call of Duty: Heroes, now available on the App Store globally, was released by Activision a week after the arrival of the COD: Advanced Warfare together with its own iOS companion app.
