After months of teasing an impending collaboration, American rapper Wale and BTS leader RAP Monster have dropped the MV of their song “Change.” Fans of both artists were surprised at the unscheduled release but had a lot of positive words to say about the politically tinged song. According to a report by Billboard , one thing that makes the track stand out from other material is that it embraces it’s full message on issues affecting society instead of steering clear of sensitive topics. Based on the site’s early review, Rap Monster and Wale were even brave enough to address issues of mental health, bullying and suicide.
The collaboration between the two talented rappers also paved the way to start the conversation for issues affecting the youth in Asia and in the US as the rhymes criticized positions on divisiveness, racist police, government.
