BTOB cleans up the Japan's K-Pop yearly chart claims #1 and #2 spot

    BTOB (Born to Beat) a South Korean boy group topped the list for Japan’s Tower Record’s chart. The boys were ranked #1 as well as #2 on Tower Records 2016 Yearly K-Pop chart. They were on the list for their single “Dear Bride” #1 which was released in February and “L.U.V”, which came out in June was ranked at #2.
Apart from these two tracks their first full Japanese album ’24/7′ was also ranked #1 on Oricon’s weekly chart for weekly chart December 19,  allkpop  reported. They are the 6 th non-Japanese to be ranked #1 on Oricon’s weekly album chart. According to soompi , BTOB’s Japanese debut album ’24/7′ became the best-selling album by having sold 27,000 copies. This was the second time boys topped the Oricon charts. Their single ‘L.U.V’ which sold over 77,000 copies in the first week was the previous one which was at the first place. BTOB was formed in 2012 by Cube Entertainment and the members of the group are Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Ilhoon, and Sungjae. Their album ’24/7′ is a beautiful collection of songs which include the Japanese version of “WOW”, “Hello Mello”, “2 nd Confession” and also a special Carol song was included for the festival. On March 2, Cube Entertainments announced, “BTOB’s third original single, ‘Dear Bride’ released on the 24th, has recorded #1 on Tower Record’s weekly sales chart. It set a record of about 100,000 sales so far.”  Before their success on Tower Records ‘Dear Bride’ was at #2 on the daily single chart on Oricon. Their singles this year apart from ‘Dear Bride’ and ‘L.U.V’ were ‘Remember That’ which was their 8 th mini-album released on March 28. While on October 27, BTOB announced their 9 th mini album, ‘New Men’ which will be group’s first dance title track release. They won KBS Immortal Song 2 award this year.
