Britney Spears has her new album ready and in a recent report, the pop icon might have included a cover of an Ace Of Base classic hit in her record.
According to a report by Inquistr , Spears may have the song “All That She Wants” in her record, as the report claimed that the “princess of pop” has prepared and recorded the song since 2008.
Although the song remained unreleased up until now, the report claimed that it might make the cut for the new Britney Spears album.
Websites such as Metro even reported how the “Toxic” singer needs to release the song soon.
“The song was never released and barely even saw the light of day, a wrong that definitely should be righted,” the website reported. “The original song was released in 1993 by the Swedish group and it peaked at number two. It’s never too late, Britters. Get it out there now!”
Meanwhile, Ace Of Base member Ulf Ekberg recently talked to ET Online upon learning about the cover of the song and reacted positively about how Spears altered some of the lyrics and gave it a personal touch, which Ekberg claimed to be perfect.
“They wanted to release it, but that was a difficult time for her,” Ekberg said. “It was only in Denmark, never finished and didn’t end up on her album. It was cool though. She took the choruses, took away the verses and wrote new ones about her mom. It was very strong.”
Meanwhile, another ET Online report showed how Spears is in the studio again for the follow up to “Britney Jean.”
In the report, the singer gave a behind the scenes look at the new Britney Spears album, while she is in the studio with DJ Burns and producer Mischke Butler.
