After rumors of Jon Bon Jovi reuniting with former guitarist Richie Sambora, Bon Jovi is set to create a new album, which is rumored to come out soon.
As pointed out by People , Jon Bon Jovi was spotted at a recording studio in New York but claims of it would be for a solo project or for the band Bon Jovi is still in question.
The source, however, claimed that he in fact is working on a follow up to their 2013 release “What About Now,” after the singer revealed his plans last February.
“I was in the studio all day working on the new record.
I walked here from the studio,” Bon Jovi said.
“I just read the paper, it gives you an opportunity to write something …
It’s early but I’m about a dozen songs in.
I feel good.” Furthermore, rumors regarding a reunion with Richie Sambora, who is said to appear on the new album, is in talks after the guitarist and singer believed to have shrugged off what happened between them.
Sambora left the band in 2013 to pursue a solo career, in which he is also working on a new album.
“The Bon Jovi machine had to go on.
I could choose – join or leave.
That’s hard when you share joys and sorrows for 30 years,” Sambora said two years ago.
“I wanted to make my own music and I preferred doing a few shows with my own band.
I said I wanted a break.” He recently confirmed that there have been no issues between him and Bon Jovi which ultimately sparked the rumor of him appearing on the new album.
“There’s no bad blood with me any more.
I love Jon, and I still see the possibility of a return,” he said.
“There are just a few steps I want to – need to – take.”
