Big Bang members G-Dragon and Taeyang  have to come together to become GD x Taeyang and have released a new music video titled ” Good Boy ” which has received over 5 million hits just 4 days after its release online.

On November 21, the duo released their music video online and currently, it is over 5 million views.

“Good Boy” was created in order to celebrate the 2nd annual YouTube Music Awards that will be taking place next March.

The duo teamed up with YouTube to create and release the music video.

World famous music video director Colin Tilley worked with them to create their video and received much praise for the video’s camera work and visuals as well.

“Good Boy” was created by G-Dragon along with the Fliptones and Freedo.

The song features an addictive trap beat along with a mix of G-Dragon’s traditional rap and melody.

Taeyang shows off his groovy vocals to create a unique sound.

This is YG Entertainment’s first hip-hop project and their song has already topped 8 charts in Korea including MelOn, Mnet, Bugs, Cyworld, Olleh and more.

“Good Boy” is also ranked number one on the iTunes chart in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia as well.

The music video has also been receiving over 16,000 comments with mostly praise and supper for the duo’s song.

This song also proves G-Dragon’s producing skills once again as he wrote and produced the song for this hip-hop project.

G-Dragon and Taeyang is part one of YG Entertainment’s hip hop project group.

The second project is still yet to be revealed and will release on Dec.

2.

G-Dragon and Taeyang have been friends since their trainee days at YG and was originally supposed to debut a a duo but instead debuted as a five-member group with Daesung, T.O.P and Seungri.

The pair have also worked on many other things together including “Ringa Linga.” This song was part of Taeyang’s solo album and G-Dragon produced the song for him and also featured in the music video as well.
