Beyoncé and Mathew Knowles were dragged once again into the old age conspiracy theory rumors involving the “Single Ladies” singer after the older Knowles spilled some details about his daughter’s apparently real age.
As reported by Huffington Post , the Destiny’s Child manager recently had a chat with New York Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” and dished about his eldest daughter talent.
At the same time, he reportedly somehow confirmed that the “Single Ladies” singer was seemingly lying about her real age as the conspiracy theory rumors have claimed in the past. In the interview, she said his daughter was the “same age” as P!nk and Usher, who were 36 and 37 years old, respectively.
“P!nk, she’s the exact same age as Beyoncé,” the older Knowles explained as cited by Paper Mag . “There used to be this battle, which group was better. Usher, he was the same age. They were all 14 or 15 years old.”
The younger Knowles has yet to address her father’s claim about her age.
Despite Mathew Knowles’ claim, Beyoncé just turned 34 last month as reported by VH1 and her husband, Jay Z, even made a video back then about his Queen as part of the celebration.
This is not the first time that an age conspiracy theory about the “Single Ladies” singers has surfaced. Back in 2006, her age was also questioned. As reported by Pop Sugar , Mediatakeout reported back then that they purportedly got hold of the singer’s birth certificate that claimed she was already 32 years old when she has publicly said she was 25.
Last year, Hollywood Take , also cited the age conspiracy theory rumors reporting on one of Gabrielle Union’s statement claiming that she’s was friends with the singer since they were teenagers even though they were nine years apart.
