Beetlejuice 2 Casting News: News that Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are working on a screenplay have been pushing Beetlejuice 2 momentum.
The latest Beetlejuice rumors say Avengers: Age Of Ultron stars Tom Hiddleston and Robert Downey Jr.
will be joining the cast.
There are also rumors that Winona Ryder is interested and that Michael Keaton talked with Tim Burton about helming a Beetlejuice sequel.
But rumors have been going on since reports that a Beetlejuice sequel called Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian was in the works after the success of the original film.
There have been rumors of a “Beetlejuice” sequel ever since 1990, when Tim Burton hired Jonathan Gems, who wrote “Mars Attacks!” to write the screenplay for “Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian”.
Larry Wilson, who was working as director of development for Walter Hill at the time, teamed with Michael McDowell to write the original Beetlejuice, which was bought by The Geffen Company, who brought in Tim Burton.
Robert Downey Jr and Tom Hiddleston are reportedly in talks of joining the Beetlejuice 2 cast.
Michael Keaton said he has been in touch with Tim Burton, who directed Keaton in the first Beetlejuice movie and the Keaton’s first Batman turn.
“I’ve e-mailed Tim a couple of times, talked to the writer a couple of times, but all really, really preliminary stuff until relatively recently.
I always said that’s the one thing I’d like to do again, if I ever did anything again.
But it kind of required Tim to be involved some way or another.
Now it looks like he is involved.
And without giving too much away we’ve talked to each other, and e-mailed each other, and if he’s in, it’s going to be hard not to be in,” Keaton told MTV News.

It’s 27 years later.
And I have to say, I love Lydia Deetz so much.
She was such a huge part of me.
I would be really interested in what she is doing 27 years later.” Ryder told The Daily Beast that the next film is “not a remake.” Beetlejuice 2 is expected to be released this 2016.
