According to the entertainment publication, the studio has tapped Justin Malen to pen the script and will be helmed by “We’re The Millers” and “Horrible Bosses 2” directors Sean Anders and John Morris.

Beau Flynn and Montecito Pictures will produce the upcoming “Baywatch” movie while, Tripp Vinson will executive produce.

Johnson’s producing partner Hiram Garcia, is also included in the team and will serve as a producer as well.

While, the film is reportedly still in its early stages Movie Pilot  reported that the story would somehow revolve “around a series of shark attacks that led the Baywatch team to investigate a drug-smuggling operation.” No further casting details have yet to surface.

Paramount has neither decline nor confirm the news as well.
