“Batman V Superman” star Henry Cavill and “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” co-star Armie Hammer could pass of as twins as they sported matching beards while shooting for the new film in Rome.
“The Hollywood gents both looked suave in their suits, with Brit actor Henry going for a bright summer look in a double-breasted maroon blazer, dark brown suede loafers and light yellow trousers,” said Daily Mail .
“US star Armie contrasted his light look in a black suit, bold blue shirt and smart leather brogues.”
The synopsis for “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” reads, “At the height of the Cold War, a mysterious criminal organization plans to use nuclear weapons and technology to upset the fragile balance of power between the United States and Soviet Union.
CIA agent Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and KGB agent Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) are forced to put aside their hostilities and work together to stop the evildoers in their tracks.
The duo’s only lead is the daughter of a missing German scientist, whom they must find soon to prevent a global catastrophe.” Daily Mail added, “Henry, 32, who is best known for his Superman role in Man Of Steele, is playing CIA agent Napoleon Solo in the remake.
Armie, 28, who previously took on the double challenge of playing the handsome Winklevoss twins in film The Social Network, plays KGB operative Illya Kuryakin.” The film will be released in August 2015.
Henry Cavill sported the beard for the new spy thriller, but he’s certainly clean-shaven for “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” as he battles an armored Dark Knight, played by Ben Affleck.
Not much is known about the story for “Batman V Superman” although rumors circulating around claim that Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot, will be introduced in the film in preparation for her standalone film.
It’s not known how Wonder Woman will play in the fight between the characters of Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
