According to the latest rumors, Zack Snyder’s “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” might introduce famed villain Red Hood to DC’s movie universe.
Latino Review’s Umberto Gonzales claims that Batman’s former sideckick-turned-antihero Jason Todd might be introduced in the crossover film.
Gonzales’ latest report coincides with the rumor of Jared Leto’s Joker having already killed on of Batman’s sideckicks, which explains Snyder’s decision to introduce a much older Batman who’s semi-retired in “Dawn of Justice.” For those unfamiliar, Jason Todd became Batman’s new Robin when Dick Grayson went on to become Nightwing.
Todd was killed by The Joker in the 1988 comic “Death in the Family.” In 2005’s “Under The Hood,” the character was resurrected to become the Red Hood, an antihero who resembles a Batman who uses lethal force and weapons.
Screen Rant speculates “Todd returns to life years later, remembering that it was the Joker who killed him, and learning that Batman never avenged him.” “Dawn of Justice” includes Henrry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
The movie opens in theaters on Mar.
