Coming in as the best Batman game in the entire franchise, as it will be played in the latest generation of consoles, “Batman: Arkham Knight” is rumored to be the last for the series after finding out hints about the death of the caped crusader in the game.
In a report by Games Radar , for the first time in the game franchise, a new “Dual Play” game mode has been introduced, which would allow gamers to use and control new heroes such as Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman, among others.
“For the first time ever, watch Batman: Arkham Knight’s exciting new “Dual Play” feature in action, which will allow players to seamlessly switch between The Dark Knight and his allies including Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman in FreeFlow Combat,” Warner Bros.
said in a press release.
Meanwhile, VG 247 revealed what gamers should expect from the “Batman: Arkham Knight” release date.
Rocksteady community manager Liam Ashley revealed that beside the “Dual Play” feature, a new “Arkham Insider” mini-series will showcase what other features should gamers expect from the game franchise.
“Over the course of the series, we’ll be showing you a whole lot more,” Ashley said.
“You’ll hear directly from talented developers across the studio and more about the features they’ve been working on and how they come together to deliver the ultimate “Be The Batman” experience.” In a report by IBTimes , however, it was claimed that the upcoming game is starting to look like the last for the series.
Evidences such as a death of the caped crusader may have been revealed in a limited edition statue that inscribed the words “From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight,” possibly hinting the end for the hero.
Another note that was pointed out was that the series may be looking to focus on villain stand alone games after and possible Nightwing titles after the reveal of Harley Quinn content.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” release date is expected on June 23, 2015 and will be available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Version for the older consoles is expected to follow in the coming months.
