In anticipation for the much-awaited Batman game, “Batman: Arkham Knight” is expected to be released this year after numerous delays.
In a report by Gospel Herald, the release date of the game is now set on June 23, while DC Comics is planning to release a comic book story of the same title on July 29.
DC Comics revealed a six-issue mini series where it will is believed to be known as “Batman: Arkham Knight – Genesis.” As to what the difference the game and comic book would have, Game Zone reported that a history of the upcoming game could be seen in the mini series.
“If the dates are accurate with no more delays, than fans would have had the game for over a month before reading about Arkham Knight’s past,” Game Zone reported.
“It’s entirely possible the new comic could just retell information that we learned in the game, possibly going into more depth; but, given the game’s development history, another delay isn’t out of the question.” Earlier this year, the “Batman: Arkham Knight” release date was scheduled on June 2 but was delayed again to be on June 23.
In a report by Coming Soon Sefton Hill, game director of the game, claimed apologized for the numerous delays and further gave fans a full gameplay video trailer of the game directly taken from a PlayStation 4.
“Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015,” Hill said in March.
“We’re a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it’s going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy.” “As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.”
