Assassin’s Creed Release Date:   Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will not be launched with a companion app.

“There will not be a companion app.

For Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the team wanted to focus all their efforts on the core experience,” said a Ubisoft spokesperson in a statement released by Eurogamer.

The companion app allows gamers to focus on the historical action-adventure open-world stealth video game.

According to Eurogamer, a spokesperson said “for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the team wanted to focus all their efforts on the core experience.” Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag had a companion app that was limited to earning money and resources via the Kenway’s Fleet activity.

Ubisoft will also reportedly remove the multiplayer feature from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

That would make Assassin’s Creed purely a story-driven game.

Ubisoft said they will add the option of gamers playing as a female assassin.

Ubisoft previously got some flak for that with their Unity game.

Canadian game developer Ubisoft will be release the latest installment of its “Assassin’s Creed” video game franchise on October 23 on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the PC officially titled “Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.” The “Assassin’s Creed” franchise is one of the most popular video game series.

Assassin’s Creed Unity players have logged over 16,000 years’ worth of game time, Ubisoft released an infographic saying players collectively assassinated more than 4 billion high-profile game characters.

The player have killed more than 8 billion non-player characters.

“Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate” was previously titled as “Assassin’s Creed: Victory.” The PlayStation Store decided to cut prices on every available “Assassin’s Creed” game.

The PS Store offers “Assassin’s Creed Unity” at 50% off at $42.22.

“Assassin’s Creed: Black Fag,”  which told the story of pirate Edward Kenway, now sells for $34.55 for the PlayStation 4 and $15.36 for the PlayStation 3, according to Games Radar.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is scheduled for an October 23, 2015 release.
