“Assassin’s Creed” movie is now in full swing after production of the film has been confirmed to be on its early stages.
As confirmed by Movie Pilot , actor Michael Fassbender, who appeared in “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” talked about the film’s progress after it got delayed a few times and confirmed that filming will take place in September.
“You say it’s a long time, but what I’ve found – it’s all new to me, but starting to develop scripts and work on them, they take time,” Fassbender said.
“It just takes time to get a good story together and we really want to do it right.
It’s going to start this year, we’ll be filming in September.” With regard to his role, rumors previously stated that he would take on the role of Desmond Miles, which was denied by the actor in a Coming Soon report, stating that fans shouldn’t listen to rumors and that a different role is expected from him.
“You don’t know that,” the actor revealed.
“Don’t listen to what they tell you, that’s the first rule.” In the same report, the source claimed that turning a video game into a feature film usually poses a challenge for the creators and especially with a tough storyline to tell, Fassbender said that the “Assassin’s Creed” movie would provide what fans expect on the big screen compared to what they play on the video game console.
“That’s always the challenge of something that’s so dense, to really find something and pare it down and basically, there are so many elements to it, so trying to translate that to an audience, you have to pick key things.
So yes, that is part of it, getting through the density of it and paring down and engaging a simple story.”
