“Assassination Classroom” fans are in for a treat as the anime adaptation of the popular manga will get a season 2! More Koro-sensei action is on the way as he and his students face a bigger threat and do more wacky stuff!
Not only is Yusei Matsui’s famous manga franchise getting a season 2 for its anime adaptation, but there will also be a live-action film adaptation which will hit movie screens in Japan in 2016.
The title of the film is “Assassination Classroom – Graduation Edition.” Anime News Network reported that the announcement came from the “Assassination Classroom” staff during a stage event at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills in Tokyo last Friday.
During the said event, they announced that a live-action film adaptation is indeed in the works.
Meanwhile, the “Assassination Classroom” season 2 was confirmed in the recently released chapter of the manga.
Not only that, the planned live-action adaptation film “Assassination Classroom – Graduation Edition.” is also set for a sequel.
The “Assassination Classroom” season 1 first aired in Japan on January 9 and is currently at its 14 th episode which will be aired on April 24.
The first season will be wrapped up within 22 episodes and is expected to end by June.
The manga series is regularly published by Viz Media in North America and here is a brief synopsis of the story.
