Working the night shift at “Freddy’s” was already notably horrifying according to critics and fans alike, but a new mod that’s in the works for the PC game may make the game unbearable.
Well, at least if you’re still playing the role of the Night Shift guy.
The smash hit PC indie game “Five Nights At Freddy’s” is getting a new mod that will allegedly add a new level of terror to the already shocking horror game.
“Fazbear Entertainment,” the title of the new mod, is now available for download on Steam and allows players to now not only resume their terrifying role as the guard, but also become the animatronics responsible for terrorizing the guard.
It’s asymmetrical multiplayer, and Steam even has a place to form groups to play with, just in case you don’t have trolls for friends already.
“This sounds amazing.
Five Nights is great for it’s guaranteed jump scares and interesting setting/creepy-ass characters, but the gameplay is pretty sh**,” commented Armando Garza on Kotaku.
“This sounds like a really good way to add challenging and varied gameplay to the game.” According to Kotaku , “Fazbear Entertainment” is a still in the early stages of development, but the game is currently completely free.
The official Steam page for “Fazbear Entertainment” description is as follows: “It is a recreation of Five Nights at Freddy’s, but with a multiplayer 4v1 format.
In the game, there are 5 players per server.
All the animatronics, and of course the security guard! The animatronic players, they will drain their own power the faster/more they move.” Although there may be some concern about copywright in the case of “Fazbear Entertainment,” perhaps because it is not for actual sale Scott Cawthon will just use the multiplayer option as material for his own modification to “Five Nights at Freddy’s.” And if not, “Fazbear Entertainment” may just become new material for “Five Nights at Freddy’s 3,” if there ever is one.
Fans of the makeshift Chuck E.
Cheese night watch game with murderous animatronics called “Fazbear Entertaintainment” can download the game online at Steam.
“Five Nights At Freddy’s” and its sequel, “Five Nights At Freddy’s 2” are also available for purchase on Steam.
