Adele's '25' New Song Is Not About Boyfriend Simon Konecki, But 'Someone Like You' Sequel

The world is going crazy over a new song preview for Adele’s upcoming “25” album, but don’t worry, it’s not a signal that her marriage with Simone Konecki is on the rocks.
While Adele and her record label have not officially confirmed this, the recent song snippet during the “X Factor” airing has all the ingredients of a hit Adele song. According to Belfast Telegraph , this song will be the lead single from her new album, and is about the same ex-boyfriend that “Someone Like You” is based on.

“She’s written a sequel to ‘Someone Like You,’ which is what everyone has wanted but no one believed she would do because she’s in a long-term relationship with a man who she has a child with,” said a source to The Sun.
“This whole process is clearly going to be very difficult for Simon because she’s singing about the love of her life, and the reality is that it isn’t him. There are bound to be love songs on the album about Simon and Angelo, but it’s telling that the song she’s going to be selling the album on isn’t about him.”
Reportedly, Adele began dating Simon Konecki—CEO of a non-profit promoting cleaning drinking water—in 2012. In October of the same, Adele gave birth to their son Angelo.
Although the couple has been subject to split rumors  in the past, Konecki has not become the subject of Adele’s songwriting…yet.
According to Vulture , Adele’s new album is expected to have collaborations with Ryan Tedder, Sia, Danger Mouse, Max Martin and Tobias Jesso Jr.
