The new album from Adele is coming and experts say that artists have been moving their release dates from November to another month to give way for probably the biggest release of the year.
In a report by the Belfast Telegraph , the upcoming record is tagged to be an “epic” one and even said that it would most likely “dominate pre-Christmas sales.”
“Adele is coming and it’s very likely to be an epic release,” an unnamed source reportedly told The Sun.
“The major labels have realised it’s essential they get out any big releases before then because from November 20, it’s very likely to be about one woman only. She will dominate pre-Christmas sales.”
Anticipating the new Adele album, record companies reportedly are either putting out records early or have delayed the releases to potentially protect their sales, claiming how the follow up to “21” would be very tough to beat.
“That’s why Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue and One Direction are going head-to-head the week before – usually the record companies would want a No1 album with artists that big but in this case they simply want to get the album out there before Adele,” the insider claimed.
“But Emeli Sandé and Michael Bublé, who share the same market as Adele, are both delayed into next year for certain.”
Meanwhile, plans of Adele putting up a tour is starting to get blurry according to the Daily Mail . According to their report, the soul singer could possibly play just one show after she releases her new album, given that the 27-year-old musician had issues with her vocal cords and that she is busy with her baby Angelo.
“There are no concrete plans for a tour,” a source reportedly said. “In fact, people at the label admit they are clueless about whether Adele will tour at all. It’s understood she is not keen to travel with Angelo as she adores quiet family life.”
“Specialists have warned repeated straining of her vocal cords could lead to a relapse.”
