2NE1's Dara Park Tells Fans To Watch Out For Projects In Korea, Philippines; Vows To Work Hard For Supporters!

After the official announcement of 2NE1’s disbandment after seven years together, all eyes are on the individual careers of its members Minzy, CL, Dara and Park Bom. After a successful stint the Philippines as a judge in the popular talent search “Pinoy Boyband Superstar,” Dara seems to be considering more projects in her second home. It can be recalled that YG Entertainment disbanded the successful girl group in November last year and announced that it will be focusing on the individual careers of its remaining members after Minzy decided to leave the group. Dara said that it was a painful decision, given the length of time the girls spent together but thanked the Blackjacks, their main fanbase for their support through the years, entertainment site Pep  reported.
“Abangan niyo rin ang mga upcoming projects ko sa PH & in Korea next yr!!! (Please watch out for my next projects in the Philippines and Korea next year),”she posted on her Instagram account. “I will work harder for all of u. I miss u already.” Dara, started her showbiz career in the Philippines as a contestant in the reality show Star Circle Quest and enjoyed great success in her adoptive country before signing with YG Entertainment to become part of one of the most successful girl groups in K-Pop. As a testament to Dara’s popularity, a clip of her solo performance of “Kiss” in “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” has garnered over 3 million views in a short amount of time. Dara has picked up several endorsement deals while she was in the Philippines last year, shooting an ad for hair care brand “Head and Shoulders” while she was in the country. She is also an endorser of the local clothing brand Penshoppe as an international ambassador alongside Thai actor Mario Maurer and Hollywood stars Josh Bowman, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevigne Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester, Sean O’Pry,, Zan Efron and Ian Somerhalder. In her Instagram  post, Dara promoted her summer campaign with the clothing brand where is is partnered with Maurer entitled #PenshoppeSummerDestination,. Dara seemed to get a head start spending time at the beach and attending her “Pinoy Boy Band Superstar” Vice Ganda’s Valentine’s Day concert before flying back to Korea to meet her commitments with her management group YG Entertainment.
