2NE1 News: Park Bom Deserves Comeback But Career On Hold Because Of YG's Uncertain Plans?

While Park Bom and YG Entertainment still embroiled in the issue over her “The Black Label” contract, fans are wondering what will happen to the former 2NE1 main vocalist’s solo career. The latest denial by YG that it has signed the singer under their sub-label comes as a big blow to Blackjacks who have been missing her in the music scene. Despite the setbacks, there is no doubt that Park Bom deserves a solo career much like her 2NE1 sisters Minzy, CL and Sandara. According to SBS Pop Asia , there are plenty of reasons why  Park Bom needs to make a return to the music scene and why fans would totally still support her.
She’s an amazing vocalist. There is no question why she is 2NE1’s main vocalist. She has an amazing vocal range and an ability to mesmerize with her voice and performances. Her solo endeavors as featured artist in BIG BANG’s “We Belong Together” and Red Roc’s “Along MY Way” were considered huge hits. Her solo track “You & I” in 2009 won Best Digital Single at the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Her collaborations with artists like G-Dragon, T.O.P, Park Myeong Su, Epik and Lee Hi also resulted in big hits for the tracks. This is one of the reasons that Blackjacks, 2NE1’s official fandom is excited to hear about news of her solo career following the disbandment of 2NE1 last year. It can be recalled that while Minzy has released her solo album “UNO” to great success, CL is working on her album “Lifted” which is set for international release, and Sandara Park has her schedule full with acting and hosting gigs, YG has remained radio silent about their plans for their talented vocalist. It comes as an even more frustrating development when Park Bom publicly announced that she will be working under YG’s sub-label “The Black Label” with producer Teddy which the label has denied immediately. It remains unclear what will happen to Park Bom’s comeback as a solo artist when the artist has made it public that she is more than willing to go back to work, Kpopstarz reported.
